Why art?

I didn't choose art. Art chose me. What I mean by that is I always been an artist as far back as I can remember. Hopper said it best. "If I had the words I wouldn't have a reason to paint" That is how it starts. As a child we do art because we don't know how to say what we feel. Most of us stop but there is that small percentage. For years I would pick up a brush and do a watercolor.
